Day 1 Wednesday - Depart from your home Airport
You will arrive the next day to Catania-Fontanarossa International Airport, CTA.
Note: if you want to arrive a few days early for PRIVATE touring or just to extend your trip, we can easily make all your accommodations.
October 7
Day 2 Thursday - CATANIA-Fontanarossa International Airport
Arrival and welcome to CATANIA-Fontanarossa International Airport, CTA and greeted by Eszter and Alfred to begin your Spring Fling in Sicily adventure. Private Transfer to Sicilia Residence. We will stay in this hotel for the entire tour. Eszter will “show you around” the immediate area. You’ll visit the green-grocer, the market, pharmacy, and two cafes located within a stone’s throw away. Later in the evening, we’ll enjoy a Special Sicilian Welcome Dinner.
NOTE: The bus will depart Catania Airport at around 3 pm for all other transfers we are happy to help for an additional cost.

Day 3 Friday - Downtown Catania Historical Tour
Discover the vibrant heart of Catania as we stroll through lively piazzas, elegant baroque streets, and bustling local markets. Along the way we'll sample authentic Sicilian street food while learning about the city's fascinating history, shaped by both earthquakes and Mount Etna. We'll end the day with dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants, where you'll enjoy traditional Sicilian cuisine in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Day 4 Saturday - Ortigia & Siracusa
Visit the enchanting island of Ortigia, the historic center of Syracuse. We begin at the colorful open-air market, tasting local cheeses, olives, fresh seafood, pastries, and seasonal specialties. After exploring ancient Greek ruins, charming alleyways, and beautiful seaside views, we'll enjoy lunch in one of the most picturesque piazzas in Italy. Dinner will be at a carefully selected local restaurant featuring regional Sicilian flavors.

Day 5 Sunday - Ottobrata: Italy's Largest Food & Crafts Festival
Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Ottobrata, one of Sicily's most beloved autumn celebrations and the largest food and crafts festival in Italy. Wander through colorful streets lined with artisan vendors, sample regional specialties, local wines, and traditional Sicilian sweets, and enjoy live music and cultural performances. This is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with locals and experience the authentic flavors, traditions, and warm hospitality that make Sicily so unforgettable.

Day 6 Monday - Caltagirone
Today we visit the UNESCO-listed town of Caltagirone, world-famous for its exquisite hand-painted ceramics. Stroll through its charming historic center, browse artisan workshops, and admire the magnificent Staircase of Santa Maria del Monte, adorned with hundreds of beautifully decorated ceramic tiles. Enjoy time to explore the elegant piazzas, historic churches, and local cafés while discovering the centuries-old craftsmanship that has made Caltagirone renowned throughout the world.

Day 7 Tuesday - Aci Trezza, Land of the Cyclops & Private Villa Dinner
Discover the picturesque seaside village of Aci Trezza, where Greek mythology tells the story of the Cyclops Polyphemus hurling enormous rocks at Odysseus. Visit the fascinating Sicilian Cart Museum to learn about the island's beautifully painted horse-drawn carts and the traditions they represent. This unforgettable day concludes with an exclusive private dinner at a beautiful Sicilian villa, where you'll savor authentic local cuisine in an elegant setting while enjoying genuine Sicilian hospitality.

Day 8 Wednesday - Mount Etna: Her Majesty
Experience the majesty of Europe's highest active volcano. We begin at a local farm where you'll discover how Etna's mineral-rich volcanic soil produces exceptional pistachios, olives, honey, wines, and other local specialties unlike anywhere else in Sicily. Then we'll explore the volcanic craters and breathtaking landscapes before visiting a boutique Etna winery for a tasting and memorable dinner overlooking the vineyards.

Day 9 Thursday - Taormina & Giardini Naxos: The Pearl of Europe
Visit glamorous Taormina, renowned for its spectacular views of Mount Etna and the sparkling Ionian Sea. Explore elegant boutiques, charming cafés, and the famous ancient Greek Theatre before enjoying free time to wander at your own pace. Later we'll visit the seaside town of Giardini Naxos, Sicily's first Greek colony, where you'll experience its beautiful waterfront and relaxed coastal atmosphere.
October 15
Day 10 Friday - Pack in the morning and farewell dinner
After breakfast at the Residence, you can lounge at the pool or organize your photos and pack. Later that afternoon you will go to Alfred and Eszter’s house for a dinner.
October 16
Day 11- Saturday - ARRIVEDERCI! Transport to Catania Airport.

- The Initial Trip Deposit of $750 per person is fully non-refundable. We can hold this deposit for 2 years should you wish to reschedule on any of our tours.
- 60 to 50 days before departure you will lose 50% of the trip cost already paid or deposit, whichever is greater
- 49 to 11 days before departure you will lose 80% of the cost of the trip cost already paid or deposit whichever is greater
- 10 days or fewer before departure, you will lose 100% of your trip cost paid
